Captcha accepts characters of any case in second round

When you fill out a captcha with wrong-case characters the first time, captcha does not accept the input.
The second time around, it allows you to use wrong-case characters.
This is perceived by users as a bug, as the first input consistently fails, while the second one is successful.
Thank you for the great module.

Which form
Heine — Fri, 02/11/2007 - 09:34Hello Alex,
That would indeed be a bug.
Unfortunately, I'm unable to reproduce this issue on the contact form. Does this happen on all forms?
Ha, its actually worse :)
Alex (not verified) — Fri, 02/11/2007 - 16:10Ha, its actually worse :) the wrong answer to the captcha throws an error on the login form, but it actually logs you in, no matter what.
So: the disclaimer that mycaptcha does not work for the login form actually applies to /user - as I installed and captcha seemed to be working fine at the first glance, I thought the disclaimer refers to the login block.
So are we looking at a bigger issue here?
PS: I tested mycaptcha on a node add form, and it worked all fine.
Heine — Fri, 02/11/2007 - 21:56The login form appears both on the login block and the user page. This form cannot be used with MyCaptcha. I've updated the known issues page to prevent such confusion.
